Building JJ consists of 3 residential floors and one basement. Rooms are single-sex; floors are co-ed.

  • Room specific: All apartments offer fully-equipped kitchens including dishwashers, refrigerators and microwaves. Each unit is furnished with beds, desks, desk chairs, dressers and living room furniture.

History[]

This is the first of GW's residence halls to dedicate itself to sustainability. The Revolution Green Living & Learning Community of 2009 cut the buildings water usage by half and its electricity usage by two-thirds. The LLC reached out to students & to the community through open houses with taught visitors what residents of Building JJ were doing to go green and what they could implements in their own lifestyles in order to lighten their impact on the planet.
